How do I buy a project car?

1.    Know exactly what you want or at least have some idea.

2.    Know your budget

3.    Know your rod shop that you may do business with and their schedule.

4.    Pay your reputable shop owner to go and inspect the project vehicle

5.    If you can't afford # 4, can you really afford this type of project?

6.    Seriously, inspect the car for structural rust.

This can be an expensive part of the build

7.    Make sure parts are available for your project

8.    If no reproduction pieces are offered, make sure your shop can fabricate

       these pieces.

9.    Estimates are only estimates.  Compare apples to apples.

10.  Know the history of the vehicle.
